The Cathedral of Fano is the main place of worship in the city, located along Via Arco d'Augusto, just a short distance from the main square. The exterior boasts a beautiful Romanesque façade, while the interior features numerous frescoes and artistic paintings not to be missed, such as "The Story of the Virgin" by Domenichino in the Nolfi Chapel, and "The Assumption of the Virgin" by Sebastiano Ceccarini on the Main Altar.
